Delegate Checklist

Please ensure you have completed all the items below in plenty of time:

  1. Obtain funding to attend meeting
    Do so in plenty of time, BEFORE you submit an abstract.
  2. Register
    You must pay in full for abstracts to be included in the meeting booklet and put on the web. See the Registration page.
  3. Book Accommodation
    See the Accommodation page.
  4. Ensure passport is valid
    for at least the duration of your stay, ideally for at least several months more.
  5. Arrange visa if necessary
    It may take several weeks or months, so apply early. See Visa info.
  6. Request Letter of Invitation
    from HUGO Secretariat if needed. Make your request as early as possible. Letters are only issued to fully paid registrants. See the Travel page.
  7. Make travel arrangements
    Book early for the best air fares.
  8. Obtain local currency and/or travellers' cheques
    See Local Currency info.
  9. Submit abstract if applicable
    Late abstracts will NOT be considered for oral presentation, and are not guaranteed poster board space. See Abstracts page.
